Cancellation and Refunds

1. Why no refunds
Every paid service on ResumeATS is consumed the moment you access it:
- The ATS + Suggestions report runs the AI pipeline against your resume the moment you complete payment — we incur the cost immediately.
- The AI Resume Rewrite editor runs the AI rewrites the moment you open it.
- The Create Resume tier unlocks the multi-step builder immediately.
- The ATS + Premium Templates tier unlocks downloadable template files immediately.
- The AI Mock Interview service consumes minutes from your balance the moment the live session begins, which incurs realtime audio costs on our side.
Because the service is delivered the moment payment is verified, we do not offer cancellations or refunds after the service has been delivered or accessed. Please review the free score, the plan card on the homepage, and these terms before paying.
2. Cancelling before delivery
If you initiated a payment and Razorpay shows it as "Pending" or "Failed", no service was delivered and no refund is needed — Razorpay will either complete the transaction or reverse it automatically per their own timelines (typically 5–7 business days for failed charges, depending on your bank).
If a payment shows as "Paid" in Razorpay but the corresponding service did not unlock on your account (a rare race condition between Razorpay and our system), email support@godlogic.in with your Razorpay payment ID. We will either unlock the service for you or, if we cannot, refund that specific payment.
3. The one auto-refund: unused AI Mock Interview minutes
How it works:
- Each minute you buy is added to your interview-time balance (1 session purchase = 5 minutes).
- At the start of a session you pick a length (5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 min, capped by your balance). That length is deducted from your balance upfront.
- If you end the session early, hit "End interview", get auto-ended by the timer, or abandon the session entirely, we calculate the unused whole minutes (
allocated − actual_used, floored) and add them back to your balance. - Partial-minute remainders (less than 60 seconds) are not refunded — they cover unavoidable per-second overhead on our side.
- Your interview-time balance never expires.
The auto-refund is for unused minutes only, not for the cost of the session itself. We do not offer money refunds for unused minutes; they remain on your balance until you spend them on a future interview.
4. Edge cases
- Network drop / disconnect — if the session disconnected on our end or due to a third-party AI Model outage that prevented you from completing the interview, contact us with your interview ID; we will assess and may refund minutes (or money in extreme cases) on a case-by-case basis.
- Duplicate charge — if Razorpay charged you twice for the same purchase, we will refund the duplicate within 7 business days of you sending us proof.
- Unauthorised charge — if a payment was made without your authorisation, immediately contact Razorpay and your bank; chargeback procedures are handled directly between you, your bank, and Razorpay.
- Service permanently unavailable — if we discontinue a service for which you've already paid before any delivery, you will be refunded for that specific undelivered service.
5. How an approved refund is paid
When we approve a refund under §2 or §4, it is initiated to the original payment method via Razorpay. Razorpay typically credits the refund within 5–7 business days; the exact time depends on your bank or UPI provider. We do not pay refunds via any other channel (no cash, no transfer to a different account, no gift cards).
6. How to contact us about a refund
Email support@godlogic.in with:
- Your account email,
- The Razorpay payment ID (starts with
pay_), - A short description of the problem.
We aim to respond within 2 business days.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Effective date" above will change when we do. Changes apply only to purchases made after the updated date.
