01About the App

Quickdeal is a rental marketplace for India. Tenants search homes, book visits, apply to rent and message owners; owners list homes and manage visits, applications and rental deals; agents and caretakers manage the homes owners assign to them. This policy explains what personal data the App and its servers handle and why.

02Information We Collect

Account and profile

• Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile photo from your Google account.
• Phone sign-in: your mobile number. The one-time code (OTP) is sent and checked by Google Firebase Authentication; we receive only the verified number.
• Your role (tenant, owner or agent) and profile details you add, such as occupation, preferred cities, agency name, service areas, experience and RERA number.
• When you accepted these documents.

Listings, photos and videos

• Property details owners enter: address, map location, rent, deposit, amenities, availability and descriptions.
• Photos, videos, tags and captions you upload, and ownership documents you choose to upload for verification.
• Verified photos: when an owner takes a photo with the in-app camera, the App sends the time it was taken, the phone's location at that moment and whether Android reported a simulated (mock) location. We use these only to decide whether the photo earns the “Verified photo” badge. Tenants see the badge, not the coordinates.

Activity on the platform

• Enquiries, visit bookings, check-ins, visit feedback, rental applications, deal terms, agreement and move-in status, commissions and payment records.
• Messages you send to other users in the App.
• Saved homes, saved searches (with alert settings) and recently viewed homes.
• Group buying requests: name, mobile number, optional email, city, preferred areas, property type, budget, timeline and the other answers in that form.

Device and technical data

• A push-notification token for your device (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
• IP address, device user-agent and sign-in times, kept with your session for security.
• Your notification choices (in-app, push, WhatsApp, SMS) for each kind of update.

We do not ask for or store Aadhaar numbers, and the App does not read your contacts, SMS inbox or call log.

03Information That Stays on Your Phone

• Your office or college address for commute times. It is saved only on your phone. To work out a commute, the App sends that location and the approximate location of the home to Google.
• Your theme (light/dark) and language choices.
• A cache of recently loaded listings so you can browse offline.
• Your sign-in tokens, encrypted with the Android Keystore.

05How We Use Information

• To create your account, sign you in and keep your session secure.
• To show listings, arrange visits, process applications and record rental deals between the people involved.
• To deliver messages and notifications, including saved-search alerts about new matching homes.
• To verify listings, photos and agents, and to prevent fraud and misuse.
• To calculate agent commissions and move-in offers under the terms agreed for each property.
• To show price insights: the average rent of similar listings in an area, calculated from listings on the platform.
• To contact you about a group buying request you submitted.
• To meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

06Who Can See Your Information

• Public listing details (photos, rent, area, amenities, approximate map location) are visible to everyone using the App.
• The exact address of a home is shared only with tenants who have a confirmed visit or a rental deal for it, and with caretakers the owner assigns.
• Your name and contact details are shared only with the people you deal with: for example, the owner and caretaker of a home you enquire about, or the tenant who books a visit to your home.
• Ownership and identity documents are stored privately and shared only through short-lived links with people authorised to review them.
• Our staff can access data where needed to support you, verify listings and resolve disputes.

07Service Providers

We use these providers to run the App. They process data on our behalf, only for these purposes:

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with advertisers. We do not share group buying contact details with builders or developers without asking you first.

08Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account from Profile → Delete account in the App. When you do, we remove your personal details, sign you out everywhere and close your listings.

Records we must keep by law or for accounting and dispute resolution, such as completed rental deals, commissions and payment records, are kept without your personal details for as long as the law requires. Security logs are kept for a limited period.

You can also ask us to delete your account or specific data by emailing developer@godlogic.in from the email address or with the phone number linked to your account.

09Your Rights and Choices

• View and correct your profile details in the App.
• Choose which notifications you get, and turn WhatsApp and SMS alerts on or off, in Profile → Notifications.
• Turn saved-search alerts on or off for each saved search.
• Withdraw camera, location or notification permission at any time in Android settings.
• Ask for a summary of your data, a correction or deletion, and nominate someone to act for you, as provided by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

10Security

Data travels over encrypted connections. Sign-in tokens on your phone are encrypted, sessions can be revoked, and private documents are reachable only through short-lived links. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

11Children

Quickdeal is meant for adults who can enter into rental agreements. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we update the date above and the App asks you to read and accept the new version before you continue.

13Contact and Grievances

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact our grievance officer. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
