These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the TestMaker - MCQ Exam Master mobile application (“App”). By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

This app is free to use: every feature is available, and your question bank can hold up to 100 questions across all subjects. An optional subscription bought through Google Play removes that limit; it is currently ₹499 per year in India and US$10 per year in other countries. It renews automatically each year until you cancel it in Google Play.
01About the App
TestMaker - MCQ Exam Master is an exam-preparation and MCQ question-bank application for Android. It allows you to create subjects and chapters, import and organize questions from your own PDF files (including scanned pages, read on your device) or from pictures of pages taken with the camera or chosen from your device, create and take mock tests, bookmark questions, use read-aloud functionality, keep and listen to study notes, plan your study for one or more exams with daily goals and reminders, review your performance, and generate printable mock tests.
The App does not require you to create an account or log in. Your content is stored on your device rather than on our servers.
02Free Plan and Subscription
TestMaker - MCQ Exam Master is free to download and use. On the free plan every feature of the App is available, and your question bank can hold up to 100 questions in total across all subjects.
When that limit is reached, the App will not import or add further questions until you subscribe or delete some questions. Questions you already have stay available, and you can keep studying them for free.
An optional paid subscription, purchased through Google Play, removes the 100-question limit so that you can import and add as many questions as you like. The subscription does not unlock any other features, and there are no advertisements on either plan.
If your subscription ends, lapses, is cancelled, expires, or is refunded, the App returns to the free plan. Your questions are not deleted, but you cannot add more while your question bank holds 100 or more.
03Pricing, Billing, Renewal and Cancellation
The subscription is an annual subscription. It is currently priced at ₹499 per year in India and US$10 per year in other countries.
Google Play shows you the price that applies to your country, in your local currency, before you confirm the purchase. That price and the terms displayed to you in Google Play at the time of purchase are the ones that apply, and they prevail over the indicative amounts above.
Availability, pricing, currency, local taxes, promotional offers, billing periods, and renewal terms may vary by country, currency, Google Play account, or promotional offer, and may change over time. Local currency amounts are set through Google Play and may be adjusted by Google, for example to follow exchange rates. Any price change will be handled according to Google Play's requirements.
The subscription is an auto-renewing subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and Google Play charges the applicable price, unless you cancel before the renewal date according to Google Play's cancellation procedures.
You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time in your Google Play account subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; the subscription stays active for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, after which the App returns to the free plan.
All purchases are processed by Google Play. Payment methods, billing issues, refunds, and refund eligibility are handled by Google Play according to its then-current policies, which govern those matters. We do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly.
04Subscription Verification
The App uses subscription information provided through Google Play's billing system to verify whether you have an active subscription, and therefore whether the 100-question limit applies.
The App does not require a separate TestMaker - MCQ Exam Master account for subscription verification. Your entitlement is linked to the Google account used to make the purchase, so signing in to that Google account on another Android device, and using “Restore purchase” in the App, restores your subscription there.
Subscription information is processed by Google Play in accordance with Google's own terms and privacy policies. We do not control Google's billing systems. An internet connection is needed for the App to verify your subscription; the App remembers the last result so it can work offline.
05What the Subscription Includes
An active subscription removes the 100-question limit on your question bank. Notes and exam plans do not count towards that limit. Every feature of the App is available on both the free plan and the subscription, and currently includes:
- Creating subjects and chapters, and building your own question bank.
- Importing questions from your own PDF files or pictures, including scanned pages read on your device.
- Creating and taking mock tests, with a scratchpad, a calculator, results and history.
- Bookmarking questions and reviewing them.
- Read-aloud and autoplay using your device's Text-to-Speech engine.
- Study notes imported from PDF or text files or pictures, or written yourself, which can be read aloud.
- Exam plans with daily study goals, study-time progress and reminders.
- Performance analytics.
- Generating printable mock-test PDFs.
We may modify, add, or remove features over time, subject to applicable law and the terms governing your purchase. Features are provided as they exist at the time of use; we do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available for the whole of your subscription period.
06No Login or User Account
The App does not require registration, login, or creation of a user account with us.
Because there is no server-side account containing your question bank, we cannot access or recover your content. If your device data is lost and no device backup is available, we may not be able to help you restore it.
07Local Data Storage and Device Backup
The App does not store your question-bank data, imported PDF files and pictures, notes, subjects, chapters, bookmarks, test history, exam plans, study time, or other user-created content on our servers. This content is stored on your device.
The App permits Android's automatic backup feature, so Android may include the App's data in the device backup associated with your own Google account and may restore it when you reinstall the App or set up a new device. Whether a backup exists, what it contains, and how long it is retained are controlled by Android and your Google account settings, not by us. We therefore cannot guarantee that a backup will be available or complete.
You remain responsible for keeping your own copies of important questions, PDFs, notes, and test data — for example by keeping the original files you import.
08PDF and Picture Import and User Content
The App may allow you to select PDF files from your device, take pictures of pages with your device's camera, or choose pictures from your device, and extract MCQ information such as questions, options, and answers.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to use, reproduce, process, print, or otherwise use any PDF, picture, or other content that you import into the App, and for photographing the pages you scan.
Question extraction may not always be accurate. Formatting, scanned pages, multi-column documents, poor-quality PDFs, unusual layouts, or other factors may result in incorrect or incomplete extraction. Text recognised from scanned pages and pictures (OCR) in particular may contain mistakes; it depends on the clarity, lighting, and language of the page, and the App currently reads English. You should review extracted questions and answers before relying on them.
The same applies to notes: the text read from a PDF or picture, and the order in which it is read aloud (for example in tables or pages set in columns), may not exactly match the document.
09Printing and Sharing
The App can generate printable mock-test PDFs on your device. You may print them or share them with other applications or services using Android's print service and share sheet.
You are responsible for what you print and share, including ensuring that you have the right to distribute the content and that sharing it complies with applicable law and any third-party rights. Once a file leaves the App, it is handled by the application or service you selected, under that provider's terms.
10Exam Plans, Study Time and Reminders
Exam plans, daily goals, and progress figures are tools to help you organise your preparation. Study time is counted only while a study screen is open and the App is in front, so it is approximate and may differ from the time you actually spend studying.
Study reminders depend on Android's notification and alarm services. Android, battery-saving settings, or device manufacturer software may delay or prevent reminders, and reminders are not shown if notifications are turned off for the App. Reminders may also be late or missing if you do not allow the App's alarms and reminders permission. We do not guarantee that any reminder will be delivered at a particular time, or at all, and you remain responsible for your own study schedule.
11Accuracy of Questions and Answers
The App may contain questions and answers entered by you or extracted from documents you provide. We do not guarantee that every question, option, answer, explanation, or extracted item is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular examination.
The App is an educational and practice tool and should not be treated as an official source of examination rules, syllabus information, legal requirements, or professional advice.
12Third-Party Services
The App relies on Android and Google Play functionality, including Google Play Billing, and may interact with your device's camera, photo picker, Text-to-Speech engine, notification and alarm services, backup service, print service, and any application you choose when sharing a file.
Your use of third-party services is also subject to the applicable third party's terms and policies.
13Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, interface, branding, logos, graphics, and original content, is owned by or licensed to GODLOGIC TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own exam preparation. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works from the App except where permitted by applicable law.
You retain ownership of and responsibility for the content that you import or create using the App, including any intellectual-property rights belonging to third parties.
14Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Infringe the intellectual-property or other rights of others.
- Distribute unlawful or unauthorized content.
- Attempt to interfere with, damage, or reverse engineer the App except where legally permitted.
- Circumvent, disable, or tamper with the free plan's question limit, the subscription check, or Google Play Billing.
- Use the App in a way that could harm the App, its users, or third-party services.
15Device and Data Loss
Because the App stores your content on your device, we are not responsible for loss of locally stored questions, PDFs, bookmarks, test history, settings, or other data caused by device failure, operating-system changes, application deletion, storage clearing, factory reset, loss of device, unavailable or incomplete device backups, or other events outside our control.
16Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the App available and functional, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every Android device or operating-system version.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the App when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any applicable subscription obligations.
17Disclaimer
The App is provided as an educational and exam-preparation tool. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App and its educational content are provided without guarantees that the App will meet every user's particular requirements, or that its content will be error-free or result in a particular examination outcome.
18Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GODLOGIC TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from the use of or inability to use the App, including loss of locally stored data, loss of examination opportunities, or reliance on incorrect or incomplete educational content. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law, or any rights you have in respect of purchases through Google Play.
19Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Pune, Maharashtra shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.
20Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be made available through the App or the applicable website. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were most recently revised.
