Elderly Care & Family Safety is designed to help elderly users stay connected with family members and caregivers. Depending on the features enabled by the user, the application may provide safety alerts, emergency assistance, location sharing, medicine reminders, health information, family communication, device status, appointments, documents, notifications, and community features.

02Information We Collect

2.1 Account and Profile Information

We may collect information required to create and manage an account or elderly profile, including:

2.2 Health and Medical Information

2.3 Medicine Information

The application may process medicine names, dosage information, schedules, dose status, reminders, and medicine history to provide medication-management features.

2.4 Location Information

If you grant the required Android permissions and enable location-related features, the application may collect location information for features such as current location, location history, family location sharing, geofencing, emergency alerts, and safety monitoring.

Location sharing is intended to operate according to the sharing settings and permissions configured by the user. The application does not claim to collect location information when the relevant permission or feature has not been enabled.

2.5 Device and Technical Information

04Family and Caregiver Sharing

A core purpose of the application is controlled sharing between elderly users and family members or caregivers. Information may be shared with people authorized by the relevant user or through configured family/caregiver relationships.

Depending on the permissions and features enabled, this may include safety alerts, location, health information, medicine status, check-ins, appointments, and device status.

Users should only add or authorize people they trust and should review sharing and caregiver permissions regularly.

05Emergency and Safety Features

When an SOS, fall, missed check-in, geofence, or other safety event is generated, relevant information may be processed and delivered to authorized family members, caregivers, or configured notification channels so that they can respond.

The application is a safety-support tool and is not a replacement for emergency services, medical professionals, or professional caregiving. Users should contact appropriate emergency services when immediate assistance is required.

06Android Permissions

Certain features require Android permissions. Depending on the features you use, these may include:

• Location: for location, location history, geofencing, and safety features.
• Notifications: for reminders, alerts, and other notifications.
• Camera or media/file access: where required for supported document or profile features.
• Phone/calling capability: when you choose to call a contact from the application.
• Background operation: where Android permits and where required for supported safety or device functionality.

You can manage Android permissions through your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.

07Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Authentication credentials and tokens should be protected using appropriate Android secure-storage mechanisms. Access to protected application data is controlled through authentication and authorization mechanisms.
